The raw Black Metal acts with the spirit of the early 90s, are popping out everywhere for years now. If you are a follower of this kind of blackened art, you will probably have some of the UK scene on the shelves.

Snares of Impurity is a fairly new act you can add to the list. It checks all the boxes when it comes to rawness, up-tempo sharp sounding riffs alternated with mid-tempo haunting, maybe even schizophrenic at some points, passages and slightly deformed and disturbed vocals. And if you enjoy an occasional ambient track, this one-man project has it in their repertoire as well. Personally I prefer a track like ‘Death Watch’, which is more pure raw Black Metal, than ‘The Forgotten Realms’, which shows more the disturbing slight depressive side of Snare of Impurity.

Still, if it all sounds good to you, don’t hesitate to give it a listen.
