Although most of the 4 members of Seraphic Entombment are anonymous, it seems I’m dealing with a project of Cemetery Filth, Ectovoid and Hegemony members.
A project that derives into a first effort containing a horrid, murky and funereal form of Doom/Death with overdubbed vocals. No jolly or playful outbursts, no happy places or safe zones, no basket full of puppies or the smell of grandma’s freshly baked cake…just pure and simple sorrow and darkness that will appeal fans of Spectral Voice and Rippikoulu. So, if your grandma isn’t a good cook and burned the cake completely, even ’till the very core…or King Diamond’s grandma…well, that kinda dark.
And although it is limited to 100 cassettes and sold out at Unholy Domains Records, maybe a distro still has it, otherwise check the band out when they will have new material. Sorrow and darkness…it is all you need, embrace it. (Ricardo)
