If you are a fairly new Thrash combo from Germany, youre doomed to get the label “Teutonic Thrash” slapped on yer ass and the Kreator, Sodom and Destruction references will fly around all over the place. And yes, they definitely have listened to some good old late 1980s Kreator, Sodom and Destruction during the process of writing songs. But they havent forgotten the US version of Thrash as well as there are some Slayer-like leads present. Although there are some fast tracks on “Home is where War is” (like “Endless Nightmare”) the focus is mostly on “Groovy” within Nucleator and the vocals are more a death metal growl than the common Thrash rasping ones. I consider this above average as the groovy parts are quite mediocre while the fast parts are enjoyable. (Ricardo)
