Necrobode / Nadsvest – Ustoličenje smrti / O Triunfo da Morte [Split]

necrobode / nadsvest – ustoličenje smrti / o triunfo da morte [split]

Info

And yet another split from 2 upcoming and very promising hordes: Nadsvest from Serbia and Necrobode from Portugal. An initiative of the Polish Under the Sign of Garazel Productions and Iron Bonehead Productions to link two musically extremist bands into one Union.

Nadsvest and their grim apocalyptic Black Metal, said to be heavily rooted in Serbian folklore dish out a chunk of impressive hateful mayhem, riding on a wave of sinister keyboards and influenced by old Svartsyn, Kriegsmaschine or Selbstmord from Poland. The band consists of only 2 musicians that whip up every song to a raw misanthropic blackened piece of black artwork. Intense and unholy! They have also a full length album out on Soulseller Records so they’re worth checking out. Believe me.

Next are the meat cleavers from Portugal: Necrobode. Their brand of Black/Death is heavier, substantially more primitive but even so, more infectious than herpes. This has caught the attention of Iron Bonehead who signed the band to their roster. Heavy thumping, barked vocals, merciless stomping on every instrument push their 3 songs in the direction of the most primitive Bestial Black/Death you’ve ever heard. Deliciously linear carnage that sounds so good!

Both bands are in their prime here, I must admit. The only drawback of such a split is its short playing time with bands of this quality. Split releases always make you yearn for more. And where there’s a craving…

An excellent split it is. If you come across this split grab it with both hands and add it to your collection.
