Nope, not going to do it…I’m not going to start how delicious Italian food is…but I will tell you how delicious the Swedish sound is!
These bunch of Ragazzi are worshippers of the buzzsaw but with a more nowadays production thanks to the work of Dan Swanö, which gives it a more Bloodbath vibe than Dismember for example. Yet all the usual suspects can be mentioned when it comes to Helslave’s debauchery, be it the 2 aforementioned bands or Grave and Entrails thanks to the pace variations, leads, melodies and groove.
“From the Sulphur Depths” has it all and although it is not original in any way, it us pure ruthless aggression and I expect nothing more or less from this kind of Death Metal. (Ricardo)
