After the dark and ominous “Black Mass Inauguration”, Cult of Eibon fires some obscure Black Metal which has its roots in the early 1990s Hellenic scene. Only a tad darker. So you get early Rotting Christ and Thou Art Lord combined with the darkness of Mortuary Drape. More due the use of deeper vocals and sound. But don’t get me wrong, the Hellenic part is without doubt 80/20. Cult of Eibon sits between Ithaqua and Caedes Cruenta, musically speaken. Promising act!
