In 2002 Cremation from the Netherlands released their only full length today called „Retaliation“. I think this album never caught the attention of many death metal lunatics. Fortunately old styled death metal(this band started in 1993, they are for sure old school) is more popular than ever and sees this album being re-released and giving a second chance to receive the attention it deserves. Imagine Death, some Deicide, very early Morbid Angel, and some hints of thrash and black metal too. There are doomy sections reminiscent of Morbid Angel and country fellas Asphyx which are very pleasant to hear. On this re-release Vic Records added some demo tracks as well which completes this little underground gem. Death Metal Fans: Grab it. (DPF)
