Graveyard – One With Dead

graveyard – one with dead

Info

Out of Barcelona – Spain, four guys united their instrumental skill to follow up the brutal path of Old School Death Metal, and so the band Graveyard was born. One demo, one EP and two split albums later, they entered the Moontower studios to create their debut album titled ‘One with the Dead’. No one less than Dan Swanö mastered and mixed this album, and you’ll definitely hear this in the production, because all instruments sound very clear on this album. This release is from high quality, and it should be the purchasing-priority for Death Metal fans who love Swedish Old School Death Metal played like back in the late 80’s, early 90’s.

Strange enough this also is a band that can create a very attractive album without using any blastbeats at all, but honestly said, I don’t miss those at all! There’s even a little keyboard piece audible in track ‘The Skull’. Look, this album doesn’t get bored at all, and contains great solid riffs, very low grunts which sound excellent and hellish and amazing rhythm sections, which makes this album one of my recent highlights I’ve heard.

This album also will be released on vinyl, which will contain two additional songs (a Candlemass cover titled ‘A Tale of Creation’ and a re-recorded version of the song ‘Into the Mausoleum’). The limited digipack version will only include the Candlemass cover.

Stunning album and I absolutely recommend this on to you readers!
