Ashen Horde is back with a 7” to follow up the “Nine Plagues” album. Like on the previous album we’re dealing with Progressive Extreme Metal with Black Metal as the core of this all. The guitars are a bit dissonant (not as dissonant as the French scene) and the influences are still late Emperor, but can’t say I hear a lot of the late Morbid Angel / Immortal influences anymore as they switched it with late Enslaved ideas. I can get a tad nervous of this kind of Black Metal, but if you like your Black Metal progressive and well produced, you would probably find this more amusing that I do. (Ricardo)
